Are There Alternatives?

Wireless pour spouts are the closest apparent alternative but in fact the differences are significant.
  • Beverage Metrics sensors, because they are attached to the outside of bottles, do not interfere with service while tracking spouts leave guests with the impression that their drinks are controlled.
  • Beverage Metrics tracks any category with or without a spout. Tracking spouts cannot be used for just those brands that sell for the highest prices and are not served through a pour spout.
  • Beverage Metrics sensor attached to the outside of the bottle can track closed bottles in storage and at the bar and banquet. Closed inventory cannot be tracked by a pour spout system.
  • Beverage Metrics sensors are on the bottle prior to being opened and after the last pour, whereas tracking spouts allow pouring prior to inserting the pourer, or after removing it.
